House Rules
1. No unneutered males or females in heat.
2. Zoie and I need to meet with all guests for about an hour, before first-time bookings, because it is very important for all of us to see how your dog(s) interact with her and our other guests here. This also gives you the opportunity to interview us, as well, to ensure that this is a good match on both sides. Additionally, your dog(s) will have a chance to become a bit familiar with me, Zoie, the yard and our home and then go home with you. We do not want any dog to be traumatized their first time here, in just being dropped off. This way, after our initial meeting, they will come back calmer and with good feelings, more comfortable in staying with us that first time you do go away.
3. Your pet should be well-behaved, friendly and obedient, in order to interact with the others, as I do not cage or crate any of our guests. However, if your dog is crate trained & that is there safe place, like their bed -- or where they are trained to eat separately or sleep at night -- you are welcome to bring theirs over during their stay here.
4. This is my home - so, if you have a dog that is not housebroken (going outdoors, or, on wee wee pads are fine), is a male and a "marker," extremely active, destructive or a chewer, please refrain from bringing them here. I would be happy to recommend some pet resorts to you.
5. Your dog(s) will be able to enjoy the yard at their leisure, all day long. Therefore, it is very important that you ensure he/she be on a flea and heartworm preventative, as they have full run of my home, including the bedroom and sleeping in my bed (if you permit it).
6. For the safety of all... especially the love of my life and my best little girl, Zoie, all dogs must be up-to-date on their shots/vaccines, including Bortadella. I keep a copy of all vet records of yearly shots here on file.
